A Quick Recap of the Royal Wedding

The royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took place on Saturday, May 19, and it was beautiful! The love these two have for each other was very evident and you could really see the love and excitement on their faces. The Royal Wedding coverage began at 4am Eastern time and was said to have around 2 billion viewers across the world. Here is a recap of some of the most beautiful moments of their wedding day.

The Venue:
The ceremony took place in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom. The beautiful stain glass windows were a great backdrop for the ceremony.
The "People Carriers"
I loved the British commentators who kept calling the cars "people carriers." Meghan Markle arrived to her wedding ceremony in a 1950 Rolls Royce Phantom IV.

To their reception, Price Harry and Meghan Markle drove in a vintage Jaguar E-type.
The Groom:
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex wore his Blues and Royals Uniform to his ceremony. He was accompanied by his brother and best man, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.
The Bride:
Meghan Markle was beaming as she walked down the aisle to her husband to be. Unfortunately, her father was unable to make the wedding due to health conditions, so her new father-in-law, Charles, Prince of Wales, stepped in to lead her down the aisle.
Meghan's Ceremony Look:
Meghan's stunning and timeless ceremony gown was designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy.

Her veil was made up of beautiful lace detail and was over 16 feet long. It was also designed by Givenchy.
Her veil was carried down the aisle by some adorable Flower Girls and Page Boys.
The tiara Meghan Markle wore was Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara, which was loaned to her from Queen Elizabeth.
The Reception Look:
Meghan made a quick outfit change before the reception and changed into Stella McCartney halter top gown. She kept the classic look and simple hairdo. Prince Harry changed from his Blues and Royals Uniform into a classic tuxedo.
The couple could not have asked for a more beautiful day for their wedding. Everything about it was absolutely stunning and looked like a dream come true.
Congratulations to the new Duke and Dutches of Sussex!
